Discover the winter beauty of Barnsdale Gardens with Nick Hamilton on this special guided walk, beginning with a cooked breakfast.

Winter is a wonderful time to appreciate the ideas behind the gardens and see how colour, structure and carefully chosen planting keep them interesting throughout the colder months. Look out for colourful bark and berries, drifts of hellebores and the spectacular Geoff Hamilton Winter Border, home to more than 9,000 snowdrops, each planted by hand.

With Nick as your guide, you'll gain a fresh perspective on the gardens and discover inspiration to take home for your own garden.

Timings

• 9.30am: Enjoy a cooked breakfast.
• 10.30am: Guided walk with Nick Hamilton.
• 12.30pm: Walk ends.
