A superb choice for gardeners with limited space or those seeking intense colour, Veronica spicata 'Ulster Blue Dwarf' is celebrated for its neat, compact habit. Unlike taller, sprawling varieties, this dwarf speedwell forms a tidy, low mound of fresh green, lance-shaped foliage that provides excellent ground cover at the front of a border.
From early summer through to early autumn, it sends up dense, slender spikes of vibrant violet-blue flowers. These starry blooms are a true standout in the garden and act as a magnet for bees and butterflies. It is an exceptional choice for rockeries, edging paths, or brightening up patio containers.
June-October flowering. Best in a sunny position and requires well-drained soil, particularly in winter. Height & spread: 30cm x 45cm (12" x 18").
