Tricyrtis formosana Stolonifera Group (Toad Lily), is a graceful perennial that brings late-season interest to shaded borders. From late summer into autumn, it produces delicate star-shaped flowers, white to pale lilac, heavily speckled with purple, creating an exotic orchid-like effect. Its upright stems carry lush green foliage and spread gently by stolons, forming attractive clumps over time.
Perfect for woodland gardens, this hardy perennial thrives in cooler, sheltered spots. Low-maintenance yet highly ornamental, it adds elegance and a touch of the unusual to late-season planting schemes.
August-October flowering. Best in moist but well-drained soil, and dappled shade. Height & spread: 80cm x 80cm (31" x 31").
