A vigorous and exceptionally floriferous semi-evergreen climber, Solanum crispum 'Glasnevin' (Chilean Potato Tree) is prized for its long-lasting summer display. From midsummer through to autumn, it produces a profusion of fragrant, star-shaped, deep violet-blue flowers, each highlighted by a prominent central yellow beak.
This RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is ideal for training against a warm, sunny wall or over a sturdy trellis where its scramble of dark green foliage can be fully appreciated. Rapidly growing and remarkably hardy, it provides a spectacular vertical accent and a rich source of nectar for pollinators.
