A luminous and sophisticated cottage garden classic, Scabiosa caucasica 'Perfecta Alba' is highly prized for its pristine beauty and exceptionally long flowering season. From June right through to October, it produces large, flattened, frilled flower heads of pure, brilliant white, each with a neat pincushion centre, held on tall, wiry stems.
The blooms rise above a tidy mound of narrow, grey-green foliage, creating an elegant, airy texture that is a favourite for mixed borders. Fully hardy and easy to grow, this perennial is a magnet for bees and butterflies and makes a superb, long-lasting cut flower.
June-October flowing. Grows best in full sun, in well-drained soil. Height & spread: 60cm x 50cm (20" x 24").
