Exuding elegance and charm, Salvia 'Angel Wings' is a sophisticated perennial prized for its long-flowering season and unique bicolour blooms. From early summer through to the first frosts, it produces a profusion of delicate flowers featuring pure white "wings" atop a soft pink lip. Its aromatic, small green foliage forms a neat, bushy mound, making it an ideal candidate for sunny borders or Mediterranean-style patio containers.
Drought-tolerant once established and highly attractive to bees and butterflies, this hardy Salvia brings a light, airy feel and reliable vertical interest to the British summer garden.
June-October flowering. Borderline hardy (will need protection in winter in colder areas). Requires a sunny and well drained position. Height & spread: 75cm x 60cm (30" x 24").

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

Peat-free plant
This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
