A striking member of the Candelabra group, Primula chungensis brings structural elegance and vibrant colour to damp garden areas. In late spring and early summer, upright stems carry distinct tiers of fragrant, orange-yellow flowers that open from reddish buds.
This deciduous perennial is a perfect choice for pond edges, bog gardens, or damp woodland borders. Its rosettes of pale green, crinkled foliage provide a lush backdrop to the tiered blooms, offering a dependable and charming display that it naturalises beautifully over time.
Summer flowering. Thrives in semi-shade in a moisture retentive soil. Height & spread: 60cm x 30cm (24" x 12").
