A delightful and highly rewarding border classic, Penstemon 'Hewell's Pink Bedder' is celebrated for its exceptionally long flowering season and soft, romantic colouring.
From mid-summer right through to the first autumn frosts, it produces an endless succession of upright, elegant spikes packed with large, tubular flowers. The blooms are a beautiful shade of clear rose-pink, featuring a wide, open throat delicately streaked with white and darker pink markings.
These pretty spires rise above a neat, bushy mound of narrow, semi-evergreen green foliage that remains attractive year-round. This hardy perennial is a premier favourite for cottage gardens, sunny borders, and contemporary mixed schemes, where it acts as a magnet for bees and other pollinators. It is easy to grow, highly drought-tolerant once established.

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

Peat-free plant
This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
