Join local artist Catherine Shaw for a creative oil pastel workshop inspired by the beauty of Barnsdale Gardens.
With a background in Decorative Arts and Textile Design from Nottingham Trent University, Catherine brings her love of nature, form and pattern to her teaching.
Learn expressive techniques and explore the vibrant, tactile qualities of oil pastels as you create your own textural garden scenes. Weather permitting, draw outdoors in the gardens, or work indoors from photos and floral displays in the studio.
This is an adult workshop and is aimed at anyone who would like to enjoy experimenting with oil pastels, both beginners and intermediates, in a warm and encouraging space.
