A superb choice for gardeners who love catmint but have limited space, Nepeta nervosa 'Blue Moon' has a compact, tidy habit and intense colour. Unlike traditional sprawling catmints, this dwarf variety forms a neat, upright mound of aromatic, fresh green foliage that resists flopping, even after heavy rain.

From mid-summer through to early autumn, it produces short, dense spikes of vivid violet-blue flowers that are much deeper in tone than standard varieties. Ideally suited for the front of sunny borders, edging paths, or patio containers, this hardy perennial is an absolute magnet for bees and butterflies.

May-October flowering. Drought tolerant. Best in a sunny and well drained position. Height & spread: 30cm x 20cm (12" x 8").
