Luzula sylvatica ‘Thierry’s Cream’ is a resilient evergreen woodrush that brings brightness to shaded areas. Its tough, arching foliage is beautifully variegated with irregular cream markings, while new spring shoots often emerge entirely cream, creating a striking early-season highlight. Forming low, spreading clumps, this hardy perennial makes excellent groundcover beneath trees, shrubs, or in woodland-style plantings. In spring, airy flower panicles rise above the leaves, adding subtle movement and texture.
Exceptionally easy to grow and tolerant of dry shade once established, ‘Thierry’s Cream’ is an dependable choice for lighting up difficult garden corners year-round.

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

Peat-free plant
This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
