A breathtaking and dramatic introduction from the acclaimed Westcountry breeding programme, Lupinus 'Manhattan Lights' is celebrated for its sensational bicolour display.
From early to mid-summer, it produces spectacular, towering spikes packed with large flowers in a bold combination of rich purple and contrasting bright yellow, reminiscent of city lights.
These majestic, architectural spires rise above a neat mound of handsome, fresh green, palmate foliage. A true standout focal point for a cottage garden or a contemporary mixed border, this hardy perennial is a magnet for bees and other pollinators. Harmful if eaten.
May-July flowering. Best in a sunny position in moisture retentive but well-drained acidic to neutral soil. Height & spread: 90cm x 60cm (36" x 24").
