A dramatic, moody addition to the garden, Hydrangea 'Daredevil' is a Mountain Hydrangea prized for its intense, dark pigmentation. Unlike traditional green-leaved varieties, the foliage emerges a deep chocolate-bronze, maturing to a dark, glossy purple-black that provides a striking high-contrast backdrop for lighter plants.
In mid-summer, it produces vibrant lacecap flowers in neon-pink (on alkaline soils) or rich violet-purple (on acidic soils). As autumn approaches, the show continues as the dark leaves transform into a blazing display of fiery scarlet-red. This compact, hardy shrub is perfect for containers or woodland borders.
July-September flowering. Grows best in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Height & spread: 50cm x 100cm (20" x 39").

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.
