Hosta ‘Velvet Moon’ is a striking shade-loving perennial, admired for its large, heart-shaped leaves in rich, deep blue-green tones and wide yellow-green margins with a soft, velvety texture. Forming a bold, tidy clump, it brings structure and elegance to shaded borders, woodland gardens and containers.
In summer, slender stems rise above the foliage bearing pale lavender flowers, adding seasonal interest. Hardy and reliable, this hosta is ideal for low-maintenance gardens.
Summer flowering. Thrives in partial to full shade in moist, well-drained soil. 45cm-60cm x 90cm (18"-24" x 36").

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

Peat-free plant
This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
