A highly vigorous and floriferous variety that offers excellent value for money by blooming continuously from mid-summer well into autumn.
Unlike many cranesbills that flower once and finish, this sterile hybrid puts all its energy into producing blooms rather than setting seed. The result is a relentless display of orchid-pink flowers, each intricately etched with deeper magenta veins, floating above a handsome mound of deeply cut foliage.
It forms a substantial, weed-suppressing clump that weaves useful ground cover between taller shrubs or roses. As the season ends, the leaves turn vibrant shades of rusty orange and red, extending the interest right through until winter. It is unfussy about soil and happy in sun or light shade.
Barnsdale tip: Because it is such a vigorous grower, it can sometimes flop over its neighbours later in the season. Don't be afraid to shear it back hard in mid-summer if it looks untidy; it will quickly produce fresh leaves and a second flush of flowers.

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

Peat-free plant
This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
