Sarcococca hookeriana 'Winter Gem' is a new hybrid  which has inherited the best qualities of both its parents. It has larger than average leaves, which are a glossy, rich green and highly scented white flowers in winter that are followed by spherical, glossy, red berries that ripen to black. Tough and tolerant of most conditions, it is especially valuable for shadier areas. Winter flowering. Evergreen. Will grow in sun or shade in most garden soils. 90cm x 50cm (35" x 20").

Fatsia japonica is a very tropical looking plant which is grown mainly for its very architectural large, lobed, dark green leaves. The creamy-white flowers are often followed by small, spherical black fruits. September-October flowering. Evergreen. Will grow in sun or semi-shade and well drained. Height & spread: 1.5m-4m x 1.5m-4m (5'-12' x 5'-12').

Viburnum tinus 'Eve Price' is a free-flowering plant with the masses of pure white flowers opening from pink buds and held over a dense bush of glossy green leaves. Winter-spring flowering. Evergreen. Will grow in sun or shade in most garden soils. Height & spread: 3m x 3m (10' x 10').
