Fuchsia arborescens is an elegant and unusual tree fuchsia, with an upright, shrubby habit and long flowering season. This semi-evergreen variety forms a branching, tree-like structure with glossy, dark green foliage that adds a lush, tropical feel, making it a striking feature in borders or large containers.

It bears large, airy clusters of small, tubular, purple-pink flowers, followed by decorative, glossy, dark purple berries that add ornamental interest. In colder regions, protect from frost or overwinter indoors in a frost-free environment.

Summer flowering. Best grown in a sheltered, sunny or partially shaded spot, in moist, well-drained soil. Height & spread: 2m x 1.5m (80" x 60").
