A spectacular twist on the classic Castor Oil Plant, Fatsia japonica 'Murakumo-nishiki' is an architectural evergreen with dramatic foliage. The large, deeply lobed leaves are a kaleidoscope of colour, featuring a striking variegated pattern of lime-green, lemon-yellow, and dark emerald.
This robust shrub provides an exotic, jungle-like feel and is a favourite for brightening shaded corners or woodland gardens. In autumn, it produces globular clusters of creamy-white flowers, followed by ornamental black berries. Fully hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in partial to full shade and is perfect for adding year-round structure to borders or large containers.
September-October flowering. Evergreen. Will grow in sun or semi-shade and well drained. Height & spread: 2m x 2m (6.5' x 7').
