Splish, splash, stamp, crackle and scrunch your way through a joyful day of creativity! This hands-on Experimental Batik Workshop invites you to explore every playful aspect of the Batik process — from applying hot wax with a variety of tools to layering vibrant dyes and creating beautiful, textured designs.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after our Introduction to Batik Workshop, you’ll have the freedom to experiment and develop your own unique piece of textile art. If you’ve completed the introductory session, this is your chance to build on your skills and design a more experimental Batik creation. If you’re new to Batik, you’re warmly encouraged to join — no experience needed!

All materials are provided, along with tea, coffee and a 15% discount on main meals in the Helenium Tea Room. Just bring an apron and your imagination for a fun-filled day of colour, wax and creative discovery.
