A sophisticated and reliable alternative to the common foxglove, Digitalis grandiflora is a perennial favourite for its understated elegance. Unlike many biennial varieties, this hardy plant returns year after year, producing tall, stately spikes of pale, buttery-yellow flowers delicately marked with brown net-like veins on the interior.

The soft, hairy, mid-green foliage remains tidy and provides a lush base for the summer blooms. Perfect for adding vertical interest to woodland edges or partially shaded borders, this RHS Award of Garden Merit winner is a magnet for bumblebees.

Toxic to humans and pets, wear appropriate protection when handling.

May-July flowering. Evergreen. Grows best in semi-shade in  moist, well-drained soil. Height & spread: 100cm x 45cm (39" x 18").
