Fiery orange-red flowers held on arching stems bring a lively burst of colour from mid to late summer, making this an excellent choice for adding movement and warmth to mixed borders.
Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora ‘Fire Jumper’ forms neat clumps of upright, sword-like foliage, with the vivid blooms rising above to attract bees and other pollinating insects throughout the flowering season.
It performs best in full sun or light shade in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil, where the corms can establish undisturbed. Once settled, it becomes increasingly floriferous and provides reliable colour year after year.
Barnsdale tip: Apply a thick mulch of dry bark chips or straw over the crown in late autumn to insulate the corms against penetrating frost and excessive winter wet.
July-September flowering. Best in a sunny position in moist, well-drained soil. 75cm x 50cm (30" x 20").

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.
