Cornus alba 'Baton Rouge' is an upright plant that is grown primarily for its bright red winter stems, when 'stool pruned', although the green leaves do produce an excellent autumn colour before they drop. The white flowers are followed later in the season by white flushed, blue berries.

Late spring-early summer flowering. Best in a sunny position in most garden soils. 1.8m x 1.8m  (6' x 6').
