Forming a exceptionally neat, airy mound of delicate texture, this dependable perennial is unrivaled for providing a continuous sheet of bright colour throughout the summer months.
The plant is covered in a profusion of star-like, clear yellow daisies that open continuously from midsummer until autumn, creating a remarkably long-lasting display. It features finely divided, thread-like foliage that gives the entire plant a light, ferny appearance, offering an excellent contrast to broader-leaved border companions.
It is a tough, long-lived choice that stands up well to summer heat and dry spells once established, maintaining its upright, bushy habit without the need for staking. This variety is perfectly suited to the front of a sunny herbaceous border, gravel garden, or a large patio container where its bright tones can be enjoyed at close quarters.
Barnsdale tip: Give the entire plant a light trim with shears in late summer after the main flush of flowers begins to slow; this removes any spent seed heads and stimulates a fresh flush of foliage and blooms for autumn.
June-September flowering. Drought tolerant. Best in a sunny and well-drained position. Height & spread: 50cm x 30cm (20" x 12").
