A standout choice for elegance and grace, Clematis 'Guernsey Flute' is a striking, large-flowered climber. It produces magnificent, star-shaped blooms of pure, crisp white, highlighted by contrasting chocolate-maroon anthers at the centre.
This compact and free-flowering variety is ideal for smaller gardens, containers, or growing through shrubs. It typically offers a prolific display in late spring and early summer, often followed by a second flush later in the season. Best suited to a sunny or partially shaded spot with its roots kept cool, it adds a sophisticated vertical element to any garden scheme.
May-September flowering. Deciduous. Will grow in sun or semi-shade in moist well-drained soil. Height & spread: 150cm x 120cm (5' x 4').

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.

This plant has been grown in peat-free compost. The compost we use at Barnsdale Gardens is mainly wood-based, mixed with some coir, with an eight to nine months slow-release fertiliser added. We have been using this compost to pot all the plants we grow for over ten years.
