A vibrant standout from the acclaimed Neon Series, Berberis thunbergii 'Desperados' is a compact deciduous shrub prized for its sensational, colour-changing foliage.
The show begins in spring, when new shoots emerge a vivid, fiery orange, often splashed with yellow. As the season progresses into summer, the outer leaves deepen to a rich, warm red, while the older foliage in the centre of the bush matures to fresh green, creating a unique and striking tri-coloured effect.
In late spring, small yellow flowers appear, followed by glossy red berries in autumn that are loved by birds.
Its neat, mounding habit makes it an excellent choice for adding structure and intense colour to rockeries, containers, or the front of a sunny border. It is fully hardy and drought-tolerant once established.

As perishable goods, live plants cannot be returned.
