A truly spectacular and dramatic variety, Alstroemeria 'Phoenix' is highly coveted for its exceptional foliage and fiery blooms. Setting a new standard for Peruvian Lilies, it features striking, variegated lance-shaped leaves of deep olive-green, cleanly edged in crisp creamy-white, which provide an elegant backdrop from spring until winter.

From mid-summer through to the autumn frosts, it is crowned with loose clusters of exotic, trumpet-shaped flowers in a vibrant shade of rich magenta-red, heavily flecked with deep burgundy markings. Exceptionally hardy and free-flowering, this perennial favourite makes a stunning focal point in sunny borders or containers, and provides long-lasting cut flowers.

June-October flowering. Best in a sunny spot in moist, well-drained soil. Height & spread: 80cm x 50cm (32" x 20").
