About Karen: Karen is one of the team of experts giving advice on BBC Radio Leicester and she also writes a weekly column for Garden News Magazine and gives talks and demonstrations at the Belvoir Castle Flower shows.
Sheās been a garden designer for 20 years and grows all her own cut flowers at her one acre garden near Loughborough. She learned her flower growing and arranging skills from Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers in Somerset.
Karen grows many flowers in containers, proving that anyone can grow cut flowers, even on a patio or in small spaces.
