By Emma Jarvis, Nursery Manager at Barnsdale Gardens.

This month’s choice is Argyranthemum ‘Chelsea Girl’, a long-flowering perennial loved for its cheerful white daisy-like flowers and soft silvery foliage. Flowering from late spring into autumn, it brings brightness, movement and reliable colour to borders and containers throughout the summer months.

Why Choose Argyranthemum gracile ‘Chelsea Girl’

Flowering from late spring right through to autumn, Argyranthemum ‘Chelsea Girl’ produces an abundance of daisy-like flowers, with white petals and a yellow central eye. The blooms are held above finely divided, silvery green foliage, giving the plant a light and airy presence.

Its relaxed, bushy habit makes it ideal for adding brightness without overwhelming neighbouring plants. Typically growing to around 60–80cm tall, it works beautifully in both borders and containers. The gentle colouring works well in a variety of styles from cottage style gardens to more contemporary designs.
